Exciting Weekend Entertainment
Live Bands BRAYTON HURLEY, MUDFLAP MAFIA and TRAINWRECK are set to take the stage in our Beer Garden this year!
MUDFLAP MAFIA will play following the Mud Drag in the Grand Stand from 9pm-12am on Friday, July 28.
Both events are free will donation, and the Beer Garden will be open for all to enjoy!
Exciting New Food
We have an INCREDIBLE lineup of food for the 2024 Monroe County Fair! Among many familiar faces, a taste from 9 miles north in Lovilia is joining us again in our food stand! The North End's Kimmie Keegel DeBrouse is back for more fair food and fun! See who else is joining our lineup as new additions for the year below.
Silent Auction Event
The Monroe County 4-H Sr and Jr Youth Council is sure to put out some great items for this year's silent auction. Proceeds being put back into our fair grounds, be sure to check out how past year's funds were spent – they planted flowers, added a Ga-Ga Ball Pit and a Basketball Play Area enclosed in an old grain wagon for all to enjoy for free during the fair!
Grounds Improvements
The Monroe County Fairboard has been hard at work figuring out improvements for 2024 and beyond. Below, you'll find the press release for a 3-year plan on building, bathroom and livestock pavilion improvements. There are big things coming to the Monroe County Fairgrounds in the upcoming years, with more to be announced at our 2024 Monroe County Fair!
Kid Zone is Back for 2024!
The area will be open Friday July 26th – Sunday July 28th from 4:00-9:00 p.m. Gate admission to the fair is $10.00 per day or $20.00 for the entire event, and Kid Zone is included in this price (no additional entry fee). Fun at the fair in 2024 is getting closer!

is made up of volunteer members representing all townships within the county. Our mission is to encourage, support, and promote the growth and development of urban and rural communities of Monroe County with an agricultural emphasis and providing a place to showcase their talents and products which bring the community together while prudently managing finances and maintaining the buildings and grounds with a high standard of safety year round.
