MONROE COUNTY FAIR

The Monroe County Fair will be kicking off this year in exciting and honorable style!  All community members are invited to join us in the Exhibit Building to help celebrate the start of another great Fair in Albia on Monday, July 22nd starting at 7:00 p.m.  The event will begin with a special presentation honoring and raising the flags on the grounds.  Honors and awards will be presented during this event by the Monroe County Fair Board and Monroe County Extension and will include some great scholarship’s being given to very deserving 4-H & FFA Seniors of the Class of 2025.  The opening ceremony event will be capped off with the crowning of the 2025 Fair King & Queen which is always an amazing celebration to watch as these very deserving youth vie for the crown under the volunteer efforts of Lynnette Major and Cindy Cronin!   The 2024 Queen will be turning the royalty over and crowing the new reigning Queen for 2024.  Ice Cream and cake will be served to everyone following the ceremony. We invite everyone to see the great additions prior to the opening of the 2025 Monroe County Fair.
